HUNTER PHILLIPS

Published author, screenwriter, director and producer. 
 

Hunter has worked internationally as a screenwriter with NBC Universal's International Formats, has produced award-winning web series/independent content and recently pitched and sold a one-hour, historical drama series.​ Hunter's feature screenplay, Bitterroot, currently has 42 Productions on board to produce and two-time Oscar winning actress Hilary Swank on board to produce and star.

As a producer, Hunter has worked for The Milken Family Foundation and StarGreetz, a social media marketing company.  At Stargreetz Hunter supervised the writing staff, coordinated the editing department, supervised production and liaised with clients which included Disney, ABC, The CW, Intel and more. Via Hunter's company, The Write Script Tutor, Hunter has shepherded client projects to HBO, Disney and a number of production companies. 

    Hunter, who earned a B.S. in biology from UC Davis and an M.F.A. in screenwriting from UCLA, is a trained member of Al Gore's Climate Reality Leadership Corps and serves as a visiting professor for Hollins University's graduate filmmaking program.
